Clean crushed

Clean crushed

We sell 6mm, 10mm, 14mm, 20mm, 32mm, 40mm, 50mm, 75mm or 100mm clean crushed.

Crusher Run

Crusher Run

Crusher Run/ hardcore is a down to dust construction material. We supply three grades 75mm, 100mm or 125mm.

Dust

Dust

Dust is a natural byproduct of aggregate production and refers to the fine particles that are generated during the crushing and screening of aggregates. Dust is typically used as a filler which can help improve the strength and final performance of other materials.

Granular Sub-Base Type 1 (GSB Type 1)

Granular Sub-Base Type 1 (GSB Type 1)

Granular Sub-Base Type 1 is suitable for all sub-bases such as for roads, driveways, pathways and hard standing areas. The mixture of crushed stone and fines ensure that voids are avoided when compacted, resulting in a load bearing and stable surface.

Highway Spec aggregates

Highway Spec aggregates

Our highway spec aggregates meet the stringent requirements and standards set by the Highways Authorities for use in road construction and maintenance.

Scalpings aggregate

Road plannings

Road plannings are typically derived from the process of removing the top layer of an existing road or pavement, usually during resurfacing or reconstruction work. This top layer, which may include asphalt, concrete, and various types of aggregates, is removed to prepare the surface for a new layer. The material that is removed is then processed to create road plannings.

Gabion Stone / Block Stone

Gabion Stone / Block Stone

Our Gabion stone is sourced from our own quarries and are used with wire baskets or mesh cages for erosion control, retaining walls and other projects that require reinforcing earthworks.

Agricultural lime

Agricultural lime

Agricultural lime, also known as aglime or garden lime, is a natural soil amendment made from pulverised limestone (calcium carbonate) or dolomitic limestone (calcium magnesium carbonate). It is widely used in agriculture to neutralize acidic soils, improve soil structure, and enhance crop productivity.

Scalpings Aggregate

Scalpings

Scalpings are an affordable and versatile aggregate, usually measuring between 0–40mm, that contain silt or clay along with crushed limestone. They are produced through filtering, screening, or removing top layers and are commonly used as a sub-base for driveways, paths, patios and temporary tracks. They provide excellent compaction and stability.

Frequently asked questions

Neutralises Soil Acidity: Agricultural lime effectively raises soil pH levels, creating an optimal environment for plant growth. Acidic soils can hinder nutrient availability and microbial activity; by neutralising acidity, lime fosters a conducive setting for crops to thrive.

Enhances Nutrient Availability: By adjusting soil pH, lime improves the availability and uptake of essential nutrients such as nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium. This adjustment leads to more efficient fertilizer use and healthier plant development.

Improves Soil Structure: The application of lime enhances soil aggregation, promoting better aeration and water infiltration. Improved soil structure facilitates robust root development and increases the soil’s resilience against erosion.

Provides Essential Nutrients: Lime supplies vital calcium and magnesium, essential for various plant physiological processes. These nutrients play a crucial role in cell wall structure and chlorophyll production, directly influencing plant health and productivity.
