Managing the risk from flooding and coastal erosion has become a huge priority. GD Harries offer specialist coastal engineering services protecting against the damaging effects of waves, storms, and flooding throughout England and Wales.

We offer a complete service supplying rock armour stone from our own quarries that complies to the strictest of specifications, together with rip-rap, gabions and walling stone through to design and installation of million pound sea defences projects. We can also offer delivery by sea as we ship from from our very own port at Pembroke Dock.

Our seven quarries throughout West Wales means we can provide significant volumes of material on an agreed schedule to ensure that projects are completed without any logistical delays. As an example we supplied 15,000 tonnes of granite to the Hinckley Point C nuclear reactor in Somerset, a project which required individual pieces of up to 15 tonne in weight of rock armour.
