Wear Red for Wales and Velindre

Last week, we raised over £160 for Velindre Cancer Centre as part of #WearRedforWalesandVelindre.

By wearing red, we showed our support for our National Rugby teams ahead of the 6 Nations and, more importantly, raised funds for Velindre, Wales’ largest cancer centre. We also organised a cake sale to support the fundraising.

This is the second year we have supported this important charity, which is the leading provider of radiotherapy and other specialist treatments in Wales. The money raised helps Velindre to fund projects and services that are fundamental to improving their patients experience,  such as specialist cancer nurses, psychology services and complimentary therapies. It also enables them to offer complex treatment pathways, earlier access to cutting-edge treatments, research into new treatments, and purchase specialist equipment.
